Mai-Ning Thayer founded MNT Marketing LLC in 2013 with a focus on providing strategic marketing, business development and brand management expertise to brands, start-ups, and businesses of all sizes.

With 25 years of marketing experience in a range of industries including fine jewelry and beauty, she has always focused on building brands and growing businesses, both domestically and globally. Her expertise includes developing effective marketing strategies and executing successful integrated go-to-market plans, working within both B2B and B2C channels.
Mai-Ning brings a breadth and depth of experience from best-in-class companies and a disciplined marketing approach to help small and large companies drive their business forward.
With an expertise in the jewelry industry, Mai-Ning currently consults for Rogers Enterprises Inc., one of the oldest and largest family-owned and operated jewelry retailers in the US, with 75 stores in 12 states, operating under the store names Rogers & Hollands and Ashcroft & Oak.
Also within the jewelry industry, Mai-Ning worked at Frederick Goldman Inc. while as Vice President of Brand Management, she managed all aspects of marketing, advertising and creative for the ArtCarved Bridal, Triton, Goldman, and Diana engagement ring and wedding band brands.
She has also worked at leading beauty companies L’Oreal and Mary Kay, holding successive strategic global marketing and management positions where she managed global portfolios of iconic hair and skin care brands, such as Biolage and TimeWise, launching new products and expanding their global business.
In addition, Mai-Ning has worked within the fashion industry in New York City, public relations in Hong Kong, and fine art auction at Sotheby’s New York. She holds an MBA from Thunderbird: Global School of Management, and a BA from Smith College. Her MNT Marketing LLC consultancy is based in New Jersey.
